New Zealand and Sri Lanka will play the the fourth One-Day International (ODI) of the seven match series at Nelson. The series is currently evenly placed at 1-1, with the third ODI getting washed out without a result. While the hosts came out on top in the Test series and won the first ODI, Sri Lanka came back well to clinch the second match before rain played spoilsport in the third game.

This series is very important for both the teams ahead of the World Cup. While the Kiwis are one of the favourites to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Sri Lanka are one of the contenders as well, having reached the finals in each of the last two editions. With the World Cup less than one month away, each team will hope to find their best possible players, and will try and experiment till they find their all-important playing XI. New Zealand start as favourites, but will not take Sri Lanka lightly.

New Zealand go in with the advantage given form and conditions, but Sri Lanka have a history of springing a few surprises of their own. The match should be another exciting one, assuming the weather does not play spoilsport. Read Preview of the New Zealand vs Sri Lanka 2014-15  4th ODI at Nelson Here
