New Zealand Women to tour India for five ODIs and three T20Is in June

New Delhi: The New Zealand women’s cricket team will be touring India from June 26 to July 15 in a limited overs series that will have five One-Day Internationals (ODI) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20I).

According to a press release issued by the BCCI, “all five ODIs will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru followed by three T20 Internationals to be played at Alur, Karnataka.”

The tour will start with a warm-up One-Dayer between the visitors and India ‘A’, following which India Women and New Zealand Women face off in the first ODI on June 28.

New Zealand last toured India for bilateral engagements in 2003-04, in which the two sides played a Test along with five ODIs. While the Test was drawn, the hosts won the ODI series 4-1.
