Pakistan’s young leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed will be missing the 4th Day of the 1st Test against England in Multan due to high fever. Him leaving the Pakistan squad has left the spin-bowlers in a weakened state.

Bowling well above 30 overs, Abrar Ahmed was unable to take any wicket, and gave out 174 runs. Now with Abrar put to side, captain Shan Masood has opted for other spin bowlers.
While the team has also experimented with Saim Ayub and Saud Shakeel to lead the spinners, Salman Ali Agha has been given the lead for the spin bowling department in the Pakistan team.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first, as they posted an impressive total of 556 in their first innings.

England on the other hand, is currently dominating Pakistan with their aggressive batting, collecting more than 750 runs for the loss of just 5 wickets (as of now). Joe Root smashed his sixth double century and levelled Sachin Tendulkar’s record for double centuries in Tests, whereas Harry Brook also hit his maiden double century.
