Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur wants newly-appointed Cricket Committee chief Mohsin Khan to apologise for his remarks targeted at South African. According to a report in Pakistan’s Urdu newspaper, ‘Jang’ on Monday, Arthur stated that he will not hold any meeting with the former Test opener Khan before he tenders an unconditional apology.

Khan, who’s heading a recently-formed Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Cricket Committee that consists former Test captains, Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq and ex-captain of the Pakistan women’s team, Urooj Mumtaz, termed Arthur “stupid and donkey” for supporting Mohammad Amir.

The committee had met recently to extend Arthur’s contract until next year’s ICC World Cup in England and Wales. The committee will also oversee the work of the selection committee and Pakistan team management. However, the onus of selecting the playing XI will rest with Arthur, who earlier has also had issues with former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq. The duo had a heated duel with regards to selection of a few players and their role in the team.
