Pakistan legend Saeed Anwar shows support to Babar Azam in viral post

The former Pakistan batter shared a post on social media platform 'X' which was in order to support Babar who has been dropped from Pakistan's Test squad for the remaining 2 Tests against England

On Sunday, former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was dropped from the Test side for the Men in Green’s upcoming second and third Tests against England which will be held in Multan and Rawalpindi respectively.

This decision of the PCB led to mixed reactions as many felt that dropping Babar could send a negative message to the rest of the team, while the others believed that it was the right decision as the Pakistan batter’s form in red-ball cricket has been abysmal for quite some time now.

In a heartfelt post, former Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar reached out to Babar Azam, offering words of encouragement and support following his omission from the Test squad. Anwar, who is well-known as one of the best batters to ever feature for Pakistan, empathized with the challenges that Babar is facing and expressed confidence in his ability to overcome this setback.

Despite being a key player for Pakistan in all the formats, Babar’s extended slump in form has seen him get dropped from the Test side by PCB’s newly-appointed selection committee.
