The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 16-member squad for the looming limited-overs leg of the series against England. Veteran Younis Khan, who has repeatedly stated his attention to play a vital role in the One-Day Internationals (ODIs) has also been named in the side. The leg-spinner Yasir Shah who is yet to make the same impact in limited-overs cricket as he has done in Tests is also named in the squad. The side will be captained by Azhar Ali and will see names like Anwar Ali, Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan return to the side.

The squad does not feature any surprises. Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez remain from the top order. The middle order has names like Shoaib Malik, skipper Azhar, Younis and Shoaib Malik among others. The pace battery will be boosted by the inclusion of Mohammad Irfan while Wahab Riaz continues to remain in the side. The spin department will have off-spinner Bilal Asif and left arm orthodox bowler Zafar Gohar apart from leg spinner Yasir.
