Pakistan won the toss and elected to field in their final World Cup warm-up game against England at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Friday.

Pakistan are high on confidence after notching up a 89-run win over World Cup co-hosts Bangladesh in their opening practice game in Mirpur. Ahmed Shehzad and  Misbah-ul-Haq slammed strokeful hundreds for the men in green to give their batting order a confident look ahead of the marquee tournament.

England, on the other hand, would be looking to turn in a better performance after their top-order struggled against Canada before they escaped a Rizwan Cheema’s blazing 93 to score a narrow 16 run win.

This is the last World Cup warm-up match before the mega tournament kicks off with the opening game between India and Bangladesh at Mirpur on Saturday.
