Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Tuesday announced the squad for the Sri Lanka Cricket Board President’s XI(SLCBP XI) team that will play Pakistan in a warm-up game on August 20 at the Tyronne Fernando Stadium at Moratuwa.

The squad, which is to be led by batsman Lahiru Thirimanne, consists of a few regular faces in the form of Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thisara Perera and Dinesh Chandimal while the likes of Suraj Randiv and Chaturanga de Silva have made international appearances in the past. The rest of the squad consists of uncapped players who have had good performances in the domestic circuit, including performances in the Sri Lankan Premier League.

The warm-up game between the two sides will precede the three One-Day Internationals (ODI) between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, who will be seeking redemption in the limited-overs after losing the Test series 0-2.
