However, the world record for most number of dismissals goes to former South African wicketkeeper Mark Boucher, who inflicted 555 dismissals in 147 Tests. In the ongoing series against Australia, Sarfraz has taken six catches so far but no stumpings.

The other five wicketkeepers, who have more dismissals in Tests are Kamran Akmal (206), Moin Khan (147), Rashid Latif (130), Saleem Yousuf (104) and Bari (228). Day One of the third and final Test between Australia and Pakistan has belonged to Warner, who became only the fifth player to smash a hundred in the first session of the first day s play. Australia have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and Pakistan, who have lost five Tests in a row now, are playing only for pride.
