Matt Renshaw acknowledged the crowd at stumps at Day One

The live cricket streaming of the second day s play between Pakistan and Australia in the third and final Test will be available online on Hotstar, while the live telecast of the match will be available on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports HD2. In Australia, the live coverage of the game will be available on BT Sport Europe. Australia will be resuming Day Two from the total of 365 for 3, with Matt Renshaw on 167, well-supported by Peter Handscomb, on 40. The duo has added 121 for the fourth wicket in reasonably good time. The Day One was a complete Australian domination, which started with David Warner s quick fire 113 off just 95 deliveries.

Pakistan who would have hoped for a change of fortunes in this Test had to undergo the whacking of Warner who took the game away from them the very first session of Day One. Since then, there has been no respite for them. Warner did get out early in the second session and was later followed by Usman Khawaja and the in-form Australian skipper Steven Smith to the pavilion. But despite this, Renshaw and Handscomb kept the scoreboard ticking. Pakistan will have to come up with something magical to pull the game back in their court, which looks very unlikely given the way this series has gone by.

Australia will definitely be looking to post a total at least beyond the 450 run-mark. This Test may seem like a dead rubber, but the way the hosts have batted on Day One, definitely sums up that they are aiming for the kill and moreover Renshaw would be looking for his maiden double-hundred which will act as a confidence booster for the New Year.

Pakistan bowling has looked bleak and failed to contain the situation despite getting the three big. They need to approach the Day Two with fresh minds and come back hard and test the young Australian batsmen with some stringent bowling spells. Otherwise, they should be ready to face an embarrassing whitewash.
