England ended Day Four of the first Test between Pakistan and England at 549 for 6 and are just 46 runs ahead of their opponents. This match in all likeliness will end in a draw, but it has been a batting paradise and both teams have scored heavily over the last four days. England captain Alastair Cook was the recent one to score big as he made 263 to help his side to a comfortable position. Cook’s innings is the third longest innings in Test history in terms of duration only bettered by Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan and Gary Kistern of South Africa. Cook however fell short of his highest individual Test score of 294. Stuart Broad and Adil Rashid are the two unbeaten batsmen for England.
