Gary Ballance provided some interesting selection headaches for England as he scored a well-compiled 70-ball 50 against Pakistan in the 11th warm-up match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Ballance, batting at No. 3, had two good stands, first with Alex Hales, who scored 31, and then with Joe Root. Both men were batting well after England were two down for 69. Earlier, Hales was dismissed by Shahid Afridi, who had him caught by Sohaib Maqsood. Ehsan Adil got rid of Moeen Ali for four, getting a leading edge to covers while turning the ball toward mid-wicket. Earlier England had won the toss and elected to bat first. England have included Alex Hales, James Anderson and Stuart Broad into their playing XI and Pakistan will test out their entire squad.
