Younis Khan reaches his 49th One-Day International (ODI) fifty. Younis Khan at number three after Ahmed Shehzad departed for a duck early on. Younis was however given an early break when he was dropped in the slips by Ross Taylor. Younis has taken fuill advantage of it and has scored his first fifty of the series.

Pakistan were set a target of 300 earlier and they never got going after losing a couple of quick wickets. Nasir Jamshed and Younis put on 49 for the second wicket, put Jamshed fell in pursuit for quick runs. Although Younis is running out of partners, he is looking steady and keeping fort at one end.

Pakistan lead the five match series 2-1. A win for New Zealand will level the series with one game to play.
