New Zealand batsman, Ross Taylor scored his 27th ODI half-century during the first of the five-match ODI series against Pakistan at the Dubai Sports Complex in Dubai on Monday. His fifty came off 86 deliveries including five boundaries with a strike-rate of 58.13. His last fifty was back in January this year when he scored 102 against India at Wellington.

Currently he is batting with his partner, Luke Ronchi who is batting on 4 while New Zealand are 126 for the loss of 5 after 33.1 overs. Pakistan and New Zealand start a five-match one-day series in Dubai on Monday with the focus on building confidence and momentum for next year’s ICC World Cup, which is just two months away.
