South Africa lost their eighth wicket when Kyle Abbott edged a Rahat Ali delivery to the slips, where Younis Khan completed a catch, during their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool B match against Pakistan at the Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday. Abbott departed for a score of 12 off 19 balls as South Africa needed another 60 to win, with more than 20 overs left in their innings. Skipper AB de Villiers was batting on 56 off 47 balls on the other end, being South Africa’s last source of hope for a win. South Africa suffered a batting collapse as they lost as many as four batsmen — Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, David Miller and Rilee Rossouw — in quick succession. Earlier, Misbah-ul-Haq‘s half-century and Sarfraz Ahmed‘s rapid 49 were the only bright spots as Pakistan were bowled out for 222 in 46.4 overs against South Africa, in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match at the Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday. South Africa will be chasing 232 as per the revised target according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.  South Africa were very impressive with Dale Steyn taking three wickets and Kyle Abbott and Morne Morkel taking two wickets each.
