Opener Phil Hughes will join Australia A squad in England as a replacement for Peter Forrest who got injured on the tour.

Astralia A will play their last match of the England tour against the England Lions at Edgbaston starting on Tuesday.

Kevin Sims, the rehabilitation manager of Cricket Australia said that the decision to send Forrest home was so that he could rest and prepare for the season ahead.

“Peter sustained a minor side-strain in the match against the England Lions at Old Trafford and with only one match remaining we have decided to send him home to prepare for the up-coming season,” Sims was quoted as saying by news.com.au.
