Plunket Shield: Colin Munro suspended for 1 match following Code of Conduct breach

In response to media inquiries regarding the unavailability of Colin Munro for the upcoming round of the Plunket Shield, please find the following statement from New Zealand Cricket (NZC) chief executive, David White:

“New Zealand and Auckland cricketer Colin Munro has been suspended from playing in the upcoming eighth round of the Plunket Shield, as a result of a Code of Conduct hearing following the Aces previous match, against Canterbury at Eden Park. A Code of Conduct hearing held on March 8 found Munro had used inappropriate language in the round seven fixture and, given his previous record in this area, handed down a one-match suspension. Colin did not appeal the ruling.”
