Proteas pacers out to get ‘desperate’ David Warner: Mark Boucher

Mark Boucher on Tuesday said South African pacers will look to target “desperate” Australian opener David Warner in the one-day series starting in Centurion on Wednesday.
Warner recorded consecutive ducks, in the two T20 match against Proteas.
“I was watching the game in Cape Town and sometimes a run out can be the start of demise for you. He got run out in the first game and out in the second. He is probably desperate for a bit of form,” said Boucher.
“He’s played a lot of T20 cricket and has just come off the Champions League where he did really well, but it’s different conditions in South Africa.
“He is up against quality opening bowlers in Dale Steyn, Morkel, Wayne Parnell.
“We know what he can do with the bat, (we’ve got to try and) stop him from being out there for a long time.”
Boucher believes former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting remains as dangerous as ever.
“He’s not vulnerable at all. He’s a fantastic player. If anything, as a guy who isn’t a captain, he is probably more dangerous, he is probably more relaxed,” Boucher said.
