Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 due to an injury. Archer, who plays for Quetta Gladiators, will miss out the remaining season for the franchise, following side strain. 22-year old, Archer played just two matches of Gladiators, picking 2 and 3 wickets respectively. He was rested for the next two games. Archer was recently purchased by Rajasthan Royals (RR) for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 at a price of INR 7.2 Crores.

Australia’s Ben Laughlin has been roped in as a replacement for Archer. Archer gained fame playing for Hobart Hurricanes in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) last season. He plays for Sussex in the English county season.
