PSL better than IPL, believes Abdul Razzaq
PSL 2018 will commence from February 22.
Pakistan's former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq made a big claim while comparing Pakistan Super League (PSL) with IPL. Razzaq was shunned by PSL franchises in the auction ahead of 2018 season, but he insisted on the superiority of the tournament. "PSL is of good standard and probably better than IPL. But when you have played international cricket against top players, then PSL is a little easy for us to play. I had some hopes of playing in the PSL but unfortunately I did not get a good response to that. If I am able to perform and prove my fitness, then I am hopeful of participating in the next PSL as a player," Razzaq told a Pakistan news channel.
PSL 2018 will commence from February 22. Contrary to the five teams earlier, there will be six teams in this edition Multan Sultans being the latest entrant. The Eliminator and Second Qualifier will be played in Lahore, and the final will be hosted by Karachi.
