India’s win over West Indies brought an end to the group stages of the 2011 ICC World Cup. With this the line up for the quarter-finals has been decided.

Pakistan top Group A with 10 points followed by Sri Lanka (9), Australia (9) and New Zealand (8).
Â
In Group B, South Africa lead the chart with 10 points followed by India with nine points. England (7) and West Indies (6) are the other two teams to qualify from the group.

In what looks to be a mouth watering clash, India meet Australia in the 2nd quarter-final at Ahmedabad, while Sri Lanka clash with England in the last quarter-final match at Colombo.

Pakistan and South Africa look to have got a decent passage to the semi-finals having to face West Indies and New Zealand respectively.
