Fringe Australian Test player Ben Cutting has given his name for the lucrative Indian Premier League`s players` auction next month.

Queensland Bulls paceman Cutting is one of six Brisbane Heat players to nominate for the February 4 IPL-5 auction.

“I would love to play in the IPL as I have played in India before and found it a lot of fun,” Cutting was quoted as saying by the `Courier Mail`.

Cutting recently returned to club cricket after his representative season was ruined by a side strain suffered in a Sheffield Shield match against Victoria.

The injury came after he had felt stiffness following a flight here after his omission from the first Test against New Zealand at the Gabba.

Players have been asked to nominate a minimum reserve price between USD 20,000 and USD 400,000 for their services and Cutting has settled for USD 100,000.(PTI)
