Raipur: Delhi Daredevils batsman Quinton de Kock has been fined five per cent of his match fee for showing dissent to the umpire after being dismissed in his team’s six-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in Raipur. “In the Pepsi IPL match in Raipur last evening, Quinton de Kock of Delhi Daredevils was fined 5% of his match fee for showing dissent at the umpire’s decision,” the Indian Premier League (IPL) said in a statement. “Mr. de Kock admitted to the level 1 offence [Article 2.1.3 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials] and accepted the sanction,” it added. De Kock was dismissed for 50 but his team failed to chase down a target of 163. Delhi needed 22 runs off the last 12 balls, with Jadhav batting on 57. Little had expected Bhuvneshwar and Ishant Sharma to bowl with precision to tighten up the match for them. Bhuvneshwar conceded only six runs in what was a brilliant display of death bowling.
