R Vinay Kumar on Saturday became the most expensive Indian bowler in a One-Day International (ODI) as he conceded 102 runs in his nine overs against Australia in the seventh match of the series at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
 
It was the fourth most expensive by a bowler to have bowled 10 overs or less and fifth most expensive overall.
 
The list is headed by Mick Lewis, who conceded 113 against South Africa at the Wanderers in Johannesburg in 2006.
 
In a match where several records were broken, 709 runs were scored by both teams. The two teams also broke the record of most number of sixes hit in an ODI match as they managed to clobber 38 hits beyond the boundary fence.
