The following is the list of statistics of India’s batting great Rahul Dravid, who retired from international cricket on Friday.

# Made his First Class debut for Karnataka against Maharashtra in February 1991.
Â
# ODI debut against Sri Lanka in Singapore, April 3, 1996. Scored just three runs in India’s win.
Â
# Scored 95 on Test debut against England at Lord’s, batting at No. 7 in June 1996.
Â
# Struck his first Test century (148) against South Africa at Johannesburg in January 1997.
Â
# Scored 13,288 in Test cricket, the second highest run-getter, from 164 Tests.
Â
# Out of 36 Test centuries, his 21 centuries came in overseas Tests.
Â
# Hit is maiden double-ton (200*) in Tests against Zimbabwe at Delhi in November 2000.

# He was the first Indian to score four Test centuries on the trot – 115, 148, 217 and 100 not out against England and the West Indies (last) respectively between August and October of 2002.

# His match-winning innings of 233 and 72 not out in the 2003 Adelaide Test gave India their first Test victory on Australian soil in 23 years.

# He is only the second batsman after Don Bradman to score double hundreds in three successive series. 222 vs. New Zealand at Ahmedabad, 2003-04; 233 vs. Australia at Adelaide, 2003-04 and 270 vs. Pakistan at Rawalpindi, 2003-04.

# The 270 is also his highest Test score and also the longest innings by any Indian.

# His maiden ODI century (107) against Pakistan at Chennai in May 1997.

# Scored 10,889 runs at an average of 39.16 from 344 ODIs.

# Was the highest run getter in 1999 ICC ODI World Cup, finishing with 461 runs.

# Registered the highest ever partnership in ODIs – 331-run stand for the second wicket with Sachin Tendulkar against New Zealand in November 1999. Dravid’s highest ODI score of 153 also came during this partnership.

# Was named among the Top 5 Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2000.

# He has batted for 120 consecutive innings without a duck between 1999 and 2004. It is a record for any batsman in ODIs.

# Was awarded the ICC Player of the Year and the Test Player of the Year at the inaugural ICC award ceremony held in September 2004.

# Was also the first player to score a century in all Test-playing nations when he scored 160 against Bangladesh at Chittagong in December 2004.
