Rahul Dravid shares pictures from childhood in his “Mother’s Scrapbook” video

Rahul Dravid is one of the favourite sons of the country. He is someone who embodies the combination of hard work and passion, and is an inspiration for millions around the world. The Indian batting legend for years has toiled hard to achieve what he has. While he deserves the credit for what he is, a lot of plaudits goes to his mother, Pushpa, for capturing his memorable moments of his growing up years in her scrapbook.

Dravid was introduced to his sport by his father Sharad and his family played a huge role in laying the foundation bricks to ‘the Wall’. The current India A and under-19 coach narrates his beautiful journey in this video, which he shared from his official Facebook account on Thursday.

It begins with Dravid narrating, “I grew up to the strange commentary coming off my father’s transistor. I grew curious why my father loves the game so much, the curiosity gave way to interest and that lead into the love for the game.”

The narration and the master’s journey is indeed as elegant as his batting. Watch the video and brace yourself for goosebumps.
