Two pups who joined Central Railway unit of Railway Protection Force on Thursday, were named Ishaant and Lord in an ode to India’s incredible victory against England at Lord’s. Ishaant (the pup) will be trained as a tracker of contraband and alcohol, while Lord will be trained as a sniffer to detect explosives.
India won the second Test at Lord’s by 95 runs, and Ishant Sharma’s seven wickets for 74 runs in the second innings played a huge part in the victory. The Indian pacer was well supported with some great batting in adverse conditions by Ajinkya Rahane and Murali Vijay.
