The start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Qualifier 2 match between Mumbai Indians (MI)and Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday has been delayed due to passing rain showers.
even though there is no imminent threat of rain, passing showers are sure to have some significant impact the proceedings of the virtual semifinal.
The winning team out of this match is going to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who had already secured their place in the final on Thursday May 29, as they beat the table-topper Punjab kings.
Speaking about what little had happened before the rain interrupted, Punjab Kings won the toss and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first. Punjab’s bowling lineup has gained a much-needed boost as their star bowler Yuzvendra Chahal marked his return in the team. MI handed a debut to Englandâs left-arm pacer Reece Topley.
