Rains delayed the start of the second Twenty20 international between England and South Africa at Old Trafford in Manchester on Monday.
The match was rescheduled at local time of 7.26pm with 18 overs per side.
Earlier at the toss, England captain Stuart Broad won the toss and elected to bowl against South Africa in their second T20.
England dropped struggling Ravi Bopara and brought in Luke Wright.
South Africa lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first tie at Chester-le-Street by a huge margin of seven wickets.
