Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered heavy blows early on when they lost their openers Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson early on against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Right-arm bowler Anureet Singh struck to remove their star opener Ajinkya Rahane in the second over of their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground in Pune.  Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals Live Cricket Score IPL 2015: Match 3 at Pune

Rahane fell in the second over of the innings as he tried to to go for a big shot, coming down the track and getting a top edge. Akshar Patel, standing at mid off, took an easy catch as the ball traveled high in their air and the fielder had enough time to place him in position. Rahane’s dismissal brought Rajasthan captain Steven Smith to the crease.  Live Cricket Updates: Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2015

Samson was trapped leg before of right-arm pacer Sandeep Sharma in a decision that did not look correct, as the ball was hitting high on the leg to the batsman and it might have missed the wickets as well.

This was after George Bailey, the captain of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) side won the toss and elected to field. Rajasthan are playing in the game without their regular skipper Shane Watson, who has missed the game due to a bruised hip.

The cricketers from both the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) paid their tributes to Richie Benaud, the former Australian cricketer and commentator who passed away earlier on Friday. The respect was paid from KXIP and RR cricketers right before the start of their IPL 2015 match at Pune.  Richie Benaud passes away at the age of 84
