In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were in firm control over proceedings against Rajasthan Royals (RR) losing the wicket of Stuart Binny with with the required run-rate mounting to close to 10 runs an over. Rajasthan’s hopes are now pinned on Steven Smith.
In the tenth over, Smith was foxed by a flighted delivery by Karn Sharma. The ball drew him out of his crease slightly, but Naman Ojha missed it behind the stumps and it went for four byes. Earlier, Hyderabad had been put into bat after Rajasthan elected to bowl. Hyderabad made two changes for this game with Moises Henriques and Amit Mishra coming in for Darren Sammy and Ishant Sharma. Rajasthan dropped Rahul Tewatia and Tim Southee as Dhawan Kulkarni and Kane Richardson came back. Hyderabad scored 134 for nine.
