Rajasthan Royals register a comprehensvie nine-wicket win over a hapless and depleted Perth Scorchers’ side to book a berth in the CLT20 2013 semi-finals. The Rajasthan bowlers maintained consistent pressure over the Australian side and reaped the benefits of staying disciplined. Ajinkya Rahane got some crucial runs and so did Sanju Samson. The two put up an unbeaten 120-run stand for the second wicket to seal a big win at their home ground.

The Rajasthan Royals have qualified for the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) 2013 tournament with a 9-wicket mauling of the Perth Scorchers. The young Sanju Samson completes his half-century with a boundary and a single off Joe Mennie on the first two balls, and then hits the winning runs. It’s been a clinical performance by the local side.

His first over yielded 13 runs to the Scorchers.
