In the final of Ram Slam Twenty20 (T20) played between Cobras and Dolphins, Dolphins won the toss and elected to bat. Morne Van Wyk started well by essaying a few boundaries early on in the first over. But he lost his partner Cameron Delport in the third over itself. He was out to Beuran Hendricks’s seam bowling, caught by Justin Kemp.
Van Wyk even scored a six off Lizwad Williams’s bowling and continued to play shots. The talented young batsman Cody Chetty looked in good touch as well. They ended the power-play overs at 47 for the loss of one wicket.
