Himachal Pradesh were 158 for four in their Group C Ranji Trophy match against Assam at Guwahati on Monday.

Replying to Assam’s 354 all out, Himachal were trailing the hosts by 196 runs with six wickets in hand, when the stumps were drawn at the end of day three at the Nehru Stadium.

Opener Aakash Chopra top-scored for the visitors with 55, while Jamaluddin Syed Mohammad picked up two wickets for the hosts. Himachal were 62 for no loss overnight.
