On a fresh green wicket, Haryana have been flattened by the Mumbai pace attack of Zaheer Khan, Javed Khan and Dhawal Kulkarni.

Haryana began on a disastrous note with the first wicket falling to a needless run-out when Nitin Saini and Rahul Dewan went for a non-existent second run. Saini was run-out for three. Haryana within no time where reduced to 10 for two when Dhawal Kulkarni secured a wicket after Sunny Singh went for a flick towards leg-side only to give a sharp catch to Hiken Shah

Only Abhimanyu Khod looked impressive and along with the 42-year-old Jadeja looked set to take the partnership ahead when the latter edged Javed Khan‘s incoming delivery to Hiken in the slips.

Even the well-timed shots didn’t fetch much runs as the the moist outfield stoopped the speed of the ball.

Sachin Rana (2) was bowled by Abhishek Nayar when he got an inside edge and it clipped the stumps.

Finally the well-set Khod was out for 27 from 41 balls. He went for a cover drive and couldn’t time it from the meat of the bat and the ball flew to Dhawal Kulkarni at backward point giving Javed Khan his second wicket.
