Tripura took three points out of their drawn Group C match against Goa, courtesy a first innings lead in the Ranji Trophy at Agartala on Wednesday.

Goa, starting their second innings on day four at 123 for five, went on to make 239 for nine in 78.1 overs before declaration.

The hosts batted for 31 overs making 113 for one in 31 overs, thanks to opener Bishal Ghosh (47*) and Udiyan Bose (41).

Tripura now have seven points from four matches (one loss, three draws) while Goa are at the bottom with 4 points from as many games (all draws).
