All the batters reached double figures except Ashish Reddy.

Jakati was the most economical of all the bowlers, he gave just 1.81 runs per over on an average in his 16 overs. The sad part about Hyderabad’s first innings was that many of their batsmen got starts but could not convert them into big scores. Reddy and Vihari although scored 50s still they did not convert them into a big hundred. B Sandeep and Anirudh took their time, settled down but threw their wickets playing extravagant and reckless shots.
