After going past Goa s score on the second day of the Ranji Trophy 2016-17, Hyderabad extend their lead by 224 runs on day three of the match at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadoium, Jamtha, Nagpur. Day three of the match started with Hyderabad score of 188 for four and batsmen Akshath Reddy and Bavanaka Sandeep at the crease. Reddy has already completed his century earlier on day two and he could only 25 runs more to his score before getting out. After Reddy s wicket, another batsman too departed soon but further, Sandeep and Medhi Hasan played built a decent partnership of 115 runs for seventh wicket. Later, Hyderabad were all out for 388 and took the huge lead of 224 runs over Goa. From bowling department of Goa, spinner Amit Yadav did performed well on day three by picking three wickets to his name. At the end of day three, Goa batted only 2.3 overs in which they could only score five with two from each openers and one extra. Goa will resume their batting on day four of match with both their openers Amogh Sunil Desai and Swapnil Asnodkar at the crease.
