The match is being played at Karnail Singh Stadium in Delhi in Round 7 of Ranji Trophy 2016-17. Ramaswamy and Fazal had a mammoth 171 runs stand between them for the first wicket. Ramaswamy made 77 off 180-ball, that included 10 boundaires, while Fazal was unbeaten on 83 off 180-balls with nine fours' and one solitary six to his name. Vandit Jivrajani got the Satish leg-before. Shalabh and Jitesh soon came out and calmed nerves for their side, staying unbeaten by the end of days play. <p></p> <p></p>Saurashtra, being put to bat first, were bundled out for 301 on Day One. Sheldon Jackson s century kept Saurashtra ahead throughout with his knock of 116, along with Chirag Jani who reached his fifty.
