With 2017-18 Ranji Trophy a few months away, all state cricket associations have started listing out probables. The latest in the list is Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA). who have named a 22-man probable list for upcoming edition. They have in their list included as many as four uncapped players Parth Sahani, Anshul Tripathi, Waseem Ahmed and Samad Khan. Sahani has 7 List A games for MP, while Tripathi has featured in a few T20 games for the state team. Devendra Bundela and Naman Ojha continue to form the heart of the side.

Speaking to Cricbuzz, MPCA’s media manager Rajiv Risodkar said: “The camp has been going on since May. Players across age-groups [have been] involved in different competitions. The new entrants have been selected following their good show in the inter-divisional and league matches organised by Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association.”

MP have also included the likes of Ishwar Pandey, Chandrakant Sakure, Puneet Datey and Avesh Khan. Harpreet Singh and Aditya Shrivastava add to a strong bowling attack.

MP are placed in group C that also has Mumbai and Tamil Nadu.
