At Mumbai (BKC): Tamil Nadu secured 3 first-innings points in a thriller against Mumbai at BKC. Prithvi Shaw could not produce a stellar show, but Shreyas Iyer and Akhil Herwadkar covered it up with respective centuries. Iyer scored a breakneck 124-ball 138 while Herwadkar scored a serene 244-ball 132. Herwadkar added 187 with Iyer and 86 with Suryakumar Yadav. Despite conceding a 76-run lead, Aditya Tare did not declare in pursuit of an outright win. Mumbai finished on 371 for 5. Rahil Shah ended with 2 for 86 while Vijay Shankar and Krishnamoorthy Vignesh ended with a wicket apiece.

At Vizianagram: Odisha stuck to their basics after following on against Andhra. They avoided an outright defeat by finishing on 152 for 7. Andhra took away 3 points after securing a first-innings lead. Starting the day at 294 for 6, Odisha put up a competitive 291 in response to Andhra s 548. Andhra smelled blood after reducing them to 81 for 6, but Biplab Samantray (62*) saw them through. Shubham Nayak hung on for 34 balls to make sure there was no mishap. For Andhra, Bhargav Bhatt took 4 for 40.

Tripura had kept Madhya Pradesh within 55 runs of their first-innings score, but lost the plot in the second innings. After Hirwani and Ankit bowled out Tripura for 103, Harpreet Singh (25*) and Rajat Patidar (25*) completed the task before lunch.
