The Day Two of Round Four of the Ranji Trophy 2017-18 was undoubtedly headlined by India‘s charismatic opener Cheteshwar Pujara, who slammed his 12th First-Class century. As a result, he also became the first Indian cricketer to achieve the feat, going past Vijay Merchant. He achieved the feat while playing for Saurashtra against Jharkhand at the Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground in Rajkot on Thursday. Also, it was Bengal’s skipper Manoj Tiwary, who slammed a strong 123, as his side reigned supreme over Himachal Pradesh at the historic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Lastly, it was Hyderabad’s Ambati Rayudu, who too played a commendable innings of 112, as his team has so far a huge lead over Railways at the Karnail Singh Stadium in Delhi.
