Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Elite Group C: Services eke out lead over Jharkhand

Services gained a first-innings lead over Jharkhand in Ranchi, and by stumps had the hosts 49/1 to trail by 25 runs during their seventh round  Ranji Trophy 2018-19 Group C match at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday.

From an overnight 48/2, Services battled to 267 without being able to fully flex their collective muscles. The skipper Rajat Paliwal (79) and Ravi Chauhan (67) hit fifties and Arun Bamal hit 46 down the order, as Anukul Roy (4/66) and Shahbaz Nadeem (3/29) led a decent bowling effort.
