Only 17 overs were possible on the final day with Puducherry slumping to 129/7. They had started the day at 95/4, but lost first innings centurions Paras Dogra (16), Rohit D (0) and experienced campaigner Abhishek Nayar in quick time (16).

Gurinder Singh finished with 5/44 while a Singhania claimed 2/10 for Meghalaya, but Puducherry’s tail saw through the day to gain three points. Pacer Pankaj Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 6/39 in the first innings that had helped Puducherry take a lead of 63 runs on day three.
