Rain played spoilsport on all four days of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 Plate group Round Three match between Puducherry and Bihar ended without a ball being bowled. By virtue of the result on Friday at Puducherry, both teams walking away with point each on Friday.

New entrants in the Ranji Trophy this season, Puducherry, drew their previous match against Meghalaya in Round Two. Bihar, who are returning to the premier domestic competition after 18 years, suffered a 10-wicket defeat to Uttarakhand in their opening Round 1 match.

With the recent result, Puducherry occupy the sixth spot in the points table, while Bihar are on the penultimate position with one point from their two games.

Puducherry next face Mizoram in Round 4 on November 28 at home, while Bihar travel back home to face Sikkim in the next round.
