Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Round 9, Elite C, Day 1: Opening day between J&K and Jharkhand washed out

The opening day’s play of Round 9 of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 season’s Elite C match between Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand was washed out due to a wet outfield at the Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground in Jammu on Monday.

Jharkhand, placed third in the 10-team group with 33 points are locked in battle with Uttar Pradesh with 38 points for a berth in the quarters with leaders Rajasthan sitting comfortably on top with 44 points. Two teams from Group C are eligible to qualify.
