Haryana finished their Ranji Trophy 2018-19 campaign at their home ground of Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Lahli, Rohtak with a win over Services in the final league match to finish at fifth position in the group.

Services, enduring their third loss of the season finished at 8th with 19 points.

Haryana, starting the day at 3/1 in their second innings chasing a target for 101 knocked off the runs with six wickets in hand with opener Ankit Kumar scoring an unbeaten 72 off 76 balls. After Himanshu Rana was sent packing on day two for 0 by AA Bamal, Haryana lost three more wickets in the form of Chetan Bishnoi for 12, Sagar Rohilla for 0 and Nitin Saini for 0 – all to Navneet Singh. But Ankit, in company of Rahul Dagar (12*), saw the team through.

Earlier, opting to field first Haryana had bundled out Services for 170 with T Kundu claiming 6/60 and Ashish Rana grabbing 4/55. For Services, Vikas Hathwala made 54 while Bamal made 30. However, in reply, Haryana conceded a lead of 21 runs getting bowled out for 149. For Services, Bamal picked 7/42. Rohilla top-scored with 64 for Haryana.

Haryana bowlers made amends the second time skittling out Services for mere 79 runs. Kundu grabbed 5.35 while Rana claimed 4/24. For Services, Diwesh Pathania top-scored for 25.
