Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Round 9, Plate, Day 1: Ashutosh Aman, Samar Quadri help Bihar bowl out Manipur for 156
Skipper Ashutosh Aman and Samar Quadri shared nine wickets between them as Manipur were bowled out for 156 on the opening day of their Ranji Trophy 2018-19 Round 9 Plate match against Bihar at the Moin-ul-haq Stadium in Patna on Monday.
Put into bat, baring opener Mayank Raghav, who scored a belligerent 79 off 54 deliveries, none of the other batsmen registered significant scores. After Raghav, Manipur captain Yashpal Singh was the second highest scorer with 26 runs.

For Bihar, legspinner Quadri snapped five wickets in his 12 overs going for 49 runs, while Aman, a left-arm spinner, bagged four for 39 in his 13 overs.
In reply, Bihar were at a precarious 107/5, behind by 49 runs, with Kundan Gupta and Vikas Ranjan batting on 29 and 5 respectively. Priyojit K was the pick of the bowlers with three for 22 in his 7 overs, while Bishworjit Konthoujam claimed both the Bihar openers with his raw pace to return with figures of two for 39 in 8 overs.
