Ravi Bopara, the 29 years old England all-rounder signed new contract with Essex. He had spent his entire First-Class career with Essex after making his debut in 2002. He scored 1,482 runs over the three formats for the Club this season, once again demonstrating his talent with the bat. The all-rounder has played 108 One Day Internationals for England, alongside 13 Test Matches. He was recently been recalled to the England ODI Squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

Head Coach Paul Grayson said, “I am absolutely delighted that Ravi has signed his new contract. He has become one of the senior figures in our dressing room, and is a key component of our side in each form of the game. He has been with Essex for a long time, and it is great news for all our Members and fans that he has signed his new deal.”
