The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced that Ravi Shastri will be the Director of the Indian cricket team, for their upcoming tour of Bangladesh, which begins on June 10. India will be touring Bangladesh for one-off Test and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

Apart from the appointment of Shastri, the Indian cricket board informed in a press release that Sanjay Bangar will remain the assistant batting coach, Bharat Arun will continue as assistant bowling coach and R Sridhar will remain the assistant fielding coach for the tour. The announcement also informed that Biswarup Dey will be the administrative manager while Rishikesh Upadhayaya was named the logistics manager for the tour. READ: Bangladesh have no chance of defeating India in the one-off Test at Dhaka

India’s tour of Bangladesh 2015 will start with the one-off Test, to be played at Fatullah from June 10. The teams will then clash in a three-match ODI series, to be played on June 18, 21 and 24, respectively. All three ODIs will be played in Dhaka.
